Silver frost by Luxico is a combination of a frosted window film and a reflective silver window film. The external face of the film has a silver reflective finish, this makes it look like a mirror from the outside and reflects the suns heat by up to 80%, glare by 82% and UV by 99%. From the inside the film has a grey frosted appearance helping to provide 24 hour privacy. This means that the film acts as a solar control window film and a privacy window film. Due to the amount of heat, glare and UV silver frost stops itÕs great at protecting expensive furnishings from the damaging effect of the sunÕs rays, slowing down the time at which your furniture fades significantly.This silver frosted privacy window film can be fitted to the glazing whilst in situ, there's no need to remove the glass. It's perfect for homes, offices, conservatories and shop windows. The film is self adhesive and can be installed with a few hand tools such as a sharp knife, squeegee, glass scraper and a spray bottle filled with water and a few drops of washing up liquid or Johnsons baby shampoo. This film isnÕt suitable for installation onto any type of Low-E glass or tinted double glazed units unless the double glazed unit is toughened.
