[Range Overview] Lone Worker Safety System The Mayday system is designed to reassure a "lone worker" that assistance will automatically be summoned if an incident/accident occurs that prevents the workers from summoning assistance themselves. When armed, the Mayday gives a periodic audible and visual warning at pre-determined time intervals. If the warning is not acknowledged by pressing the OK button within a further pre-determined time the Mayday will trigger external warning devices such as a remote visual indicator, audible sounder, telephone auto-dialler or even a radio pager to request help. The Mayday system can be used with intruder alarm motion detectors where the OK reset button is not suitable.
